Shadyside Memorial Park was opened in the year 1897 in the form of one of the private parks with regards to employees of ‘Union Traction Company’.
‘City of Anderson’ went on to buy it in the year 1923; thereby opening it for public. Certain renovations occurred in 1990s. As such, people of all age-groups can enjoy over here.
