Monument Circle, better known as Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ monument can be described as an 87 meter tall ‘neoclassical oolitic limestone as well as bronze monument. It had been erected with the objective of honoring Hoosiers who had been veterans of American Revolution, Mexican-American War, and many others. Once upon a time, constructing anything taller than this monument was considered to be illegal.
