Indiana has an excellent track record when it comes to its colleges and universities, and Purdue University is no exception. Its Indianapolis campus is only one of 22 universities in the United States to complete a $1 billion comprehensive campaign and is ranked 5th in the country by U.S. News and World Report’s “Up-an-Coming National Universities” report.
Established in 1969, Purdue University in Indianapolis offers more than 250 degrees and ranks among the top 20 in the country in the number of first professional and health-related degrees. The campus is a great place to visit if you are considering studying there, otherwise there isn’t much to see for tourists other than college students studying on green lawns and the occasional student protest.
The campus is located on University Boulevard. For more information or for campus tours, contact (317) 274-5555.
