If you thought Indianapolis was all sports venues, events, and historic museums, think again. Downtown Indianapolis is place to be when it comes the best nightclubs and bars in the state.
If you are looking for an unforgettable night, start off at World Mardi Gras, which features a music hall that plays New Orleans-street theme tunes with an excellent menu. Gator’s is a great high-energy dance club with a beach theme (think Southern California style), featuring state-of-the-art audio, video and lighting. Flashbaxx is another good option, with 1970’s-style décor that features ’70 and ‘80s tunes.
If you are looking for a great sports bar, Brewski’s is the place for you with an affordable menu, big screen televisions, and a great, friendly bar staff. Other options in the downtown Indianapolis area include: Amato’s Pub on South Meriden Street, Arnold’s Tavern on 10th Street, Bill Spears Tavern on Kentucky Avenue and the Champions Sports Bar on West Maryland and right below the Marriott Hotel.
