Downtown Indianapolis is a tempting place to be, especially if you are looking for upscale nightclub options. One blink, and you might even forget that you are in Indianapolis as some of it’s top lounges and bar rival that of New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami.
For the most sophisticated lounge in town, check out Subterra. The bar serves premium vodkas and martinis, with world-class bartenders and service, a one-of-a-kind lighting system, a VIP room, live music, and a spacious dancefloor. Sesnu is another fine dining and lounge option on South Meriden Street. The restaurant serves an Asian-Fusion menu and it’s nightclub features the best DJ’s in the country every week.
Other notable nightclubs in the city include Maggie’s Lounge and Simrell’s. The always popular (and always crowded) Blue Martini is another good night out on East 96th Street, along with Ruth’s Chris Steak House on Threel Road in Northern Indianapolis.
