Slippery Noodle is the oldest bar in Indiana established in 1850. It is a large blues bar and restaurant having two performance stages in downtown Indianapolis. It served as a stop on the Underground Railroad during the American Civil War period. It is also the oldest commercial building and the bar is over a century old. The inn has operated under its current name since 1963.
