Approximately two miles outside of Indianapolis, The Lily Recreation Park is a great place for those wanting to relax and unwind outside of the city with recreational activities available for everyone. Just as any other park, there are children’s playgrounds, a picnic area, a baseball field and a volleyball court. Biking, jogging, and walking trails are also available.
For those wanting more action though, head over to the White River State Park, where you are sure to enjoy concerts, theater entertainment, festivals, and more. If you are looking for a little relaxation, Lily then is for you.
In addition, there are also some great eats nearby the park for those wanting to grab lunch, including John’s Famous Stew, The Greek Islands, Shapiro’s Delicatessen and The Bosphorus Istanbul Café. Opening hours are from sunrise to sunset.
