Washington Square Mall is a regional shopping mall which is situated on the eastern side of Indianapolis. Opened in 1974, it got renovated in 1999. The mall was built by Edward J DeBartolo Sr. and is managed by the Simon Property Group. This group merged with the DeBartolo Company in 1996. The number of stores here at the mall is more than eighty.
