South Bend 6
South bend lies on the St. Joseph River near its southernmost bend, from which it derives its name. Very Catholic place, The city and surrounding county hold 23 Catholic churches and 11 Catholic schools. There's so much to do while you're here. Visit the zoo. Explore the gardens. Tour a chocolate factory. Take a carriage ride. Picnic in a park. Perfect place for shopping, where you can shop till you drop. There are many places of worship, South Bend/Mishawaka is a great place to come to feel rejuvenated and to take a break from a chaotic lifestyle. It's easy to stay active. The walking, running, and bike trails that connect downtown with South Bend, the Notre Dame campus are extremely popular. The latest path follows the river from northern edge of downtown to northwestern city...
