The Dr. James Ford Historic Home is a restored 19th century built physician’s home and surgery which invites people to experience the daily lives, activities and personalities of the Dr. James Ford family in the years prior and after the Civil War. There are displays of objects which are arranged as they were used before. The guests can get to see the Victorian era Flower garden and also the vegetable and medicinal herb gardens.
