Purdue University’s first president was Richard Owen who started his term in 1872. There were overall six instructors and 39 students in 1874. The first graduating class of this university was 14 students at the most. This university has a tradition of ethical conduct which spans its history. The goal of the university is to make one’s visit an enjoyable one.
