Carroll is located in Carroll County of Iowa in United States.
The city got its name from Charles Carroll of Carrollton in Maryland. This person was the only roman Catholic to sign the Declaration of Independence and was the longest living signatory.
This city is rich in cultural heritage and has various cultural centers that are not only fascinating but provide knowledge about the past of this place.
In the year 1869 the railroad town of County was selected as the county seat replacing the Protestants of Carrolton.
This city also has some of the best recreational centers that are quite popular among tourists and make them visit again and again. With a mixed race the city has a wide cultural diversity and that reflects in the dining and wining of the place.
The climate of the place is quite moderate and can be visited at any time of the year.
The population of this place comes to 10,106 according to 2000 census.
