The Floyd County Museum is known as one of the Midwest’s largest rural county museums having 50,000 artifacts. These artifacts depicts the early and the recent prairie life, and both agricultural and industrial. This museum has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places. This museum opened its new climate controlled exhibit area in 1999 and featured historic farm tractors, tools and implementation process of the last century.
