Bayou Bend Park was founded in 1946 by a group of businessmen who volunteered to finance the cost of the area. This park is home for the ducks and the geese. Moreover, the Bayou Bend Park extends along the river from South Joslin Street to Gilbert Street. Apart from this, the park attracts the residents, families, youngsters, children and travelers from all parts of the world.
