Surf Ballroom has been looked upon as a significant historic landmark and American Cultural Icon by several Americans. Original ballroom had been built in the year 1933. However, it got destroyed in the year 1947 by fire. The reconstruction took place in the year 1948. There are many fancy items on display at this place; especially at the place which serves as a museum right now. Throughout the year, musical acts get held.
