The National Balloon Museum intends to offer such collections and exhibitions that would cause the public to have a thorough knowledge of ballooning and its history. This museum runs on more than 2,000 volunteer hours per year. There are about 10,000 visitors per year at this museum who flock to view the museum archives of more than 200 years of ballooning. In 2003, the floor space of this museum was doubled.
