Kinney Pioneer Museum
This museum lies at entrance of ‘Mason City Airport’. It goes on to house exhibits which are inclusive of fossils, utensils and artifacts pertaining to American-Indian culture, and many more things. The other items which have been featured include the sole Colby Car which was left out of 900 manufactured in this city from 1911 to 1914; a blacksmith shop of 1912, replica of covered wagon of the year 1859, printing press pertaining to 18th century; and demonstrations of broom and rug making.
Timings
Kinney Pioneer Museum remains open between 1st and 31st of May from Wednesdays to Fridays and on Sundays between 1200 and 1700 hrs. From 1st of June to 31st of August, it remains open from Wednesdays to Sundays between 1200 and 1700 hrs. In the entire month of September, Kinney Pioneer Museum follows the slot same as that of May.
