Mental Health Institute also stands on same campus.
In the year 1869, Mount Pleasant had been scene of solar eclipse expedition, sponsored by National Almanac; under commands of ‘James Craig Watson’. 7th of August, 1869 was the day when total solar eclipse occurred.
