The permanent collection at Muscatine Art Center comprises of decorative arts (like furniture, American art pottery, oriental carpets, paperweights) along with works of art of several American artists like Allan Houser, Georgia O’Keeffe, John Mix Stanley, Mauricio Lasansky and Grant Wood. The Great River collection comprises of maps, prints, drawings and paintings of aesthetic and historical importance of the River Mississippi.
