Okoboji city is situated in Dickinson County in Iowa. This city is located along the Eastern Shore of West Okoboji Lake near the Iowa Great Lakes area. Okoboji is mostly popular as a summer tourism area. There are five glacier carved lakes which surround this city making it an ideal location for many sports activities like canoeing and cross country skiing.
The population as per the 2000 census, it was estimated to 820 people. By 2009, it estimates to around 939 people. Since 2000, it has had a population growth of 17.20 percent.
