The Hoyt Sherman Place is a grand manor house where a prominent businessman Hoyt Sherman lived. It was constructed in 1877. Currently, here one can find a museum where there are ancient artifacts, furnishings and paintings. Close to this place is a 1923 theater which has now been restored. Local performing arts events, musicians, theatrical productions are hosted at this place.
