‘Living History Farms’ in Urbandale can be referred to as an open-air museum having an area of 550 acres. It’s a home to numerous events throughout the year. Some of such occasions are as follows:
Beer ‘n’ Bread
This events would be held on 7th of March, between 1500 and 1800 hrs. One would find micro-brewed beers apart from ‘fresh artisan breads’ and the other snacks in Visitor Center of Living History Farms. Brewers on the local level would be available for talking about craft as all of them would be participating in brewing contest. Not only that, Millstream Sarsparilla would also be available as a cpmpliment.
Darren Raleigh
This event is going to be held on 14th of March between 1900 and 2100 hrs. Darren Raleigh, the storyteller and Celtic harper would be returning to the above-mentioned ‘Visitor Center’ with Celtic folktales, myths, poetry, songs, and music regarding Irish harp.
