Tourist Guide Chanute
Chanute city is located in Neosho County.
This city was founded in the year 1873 and was named after railroad engineer and aviation pioneer Octave Chanute. It is one of the largest cities in Neosho County. Although the land was first inhabited in the year 1856, but there were many differences among the people who were there in this town so the railroad engineer came and solve the difference and bring the people together in the year 1873.
The city started developing after the railroad came and from that time, in the year 1887 the city had number of industries that earned huge revenue to this place. Some of the industries were flour mills, grain elevators, banks drugs, hardware store and natural gas.
The city has some of the best sightseeing points and historical sites that are worth watching.
The climate of this place is very pleasant and can be visited at any time of the year.
