The city of Ellis is located right in the central hemisphere of the state of Kansas. The city of Ellis is not so blessed nature wise. But the city has managed to mark its notification in terms of architecture. The city has many artistic buildings built in recent times and some are from the ancient time as well. These buildings comprise of many big libraries, educational institutes, museums, art galleries, etc. The city is also famous for its consumption of liquor every year. As there is no big water reservoir in the city agriculture is not done in the city and a major amount of food has to be bought from the neighboring cities. Geographically the city is quite large and stretches up to 79 square km in area. In spite of being so large in area the population here is less as per the area available for colonies. As per the latest census the city holds a population of around 27,000. The climate experienced in the city is very stable. It experiences a typical humid continental climate. The winters here are quite cold and long and the summers are mildly hot.
