Around twenty buildings with regards to Fort Scott National Historic Site are being restored to original look of 1840s. This site also happens to feature parade grounds; along with five acres pertaining to ‘tallgrass prairie’. National Park Service has undertaken the task of preserving, protecting, and interpreting nationally important resources pertaining to battles such as ‘Mexican-American War’.
