Konza Prairie Research Natural Area can be described as a tallgrass prairie reserve which has been owned on the joint basis by Kansas State University and Natural Conservancy. This center has been dedicated to 3-fold mission of ‘long-term ecological research’, ‘prairie conservation’, and education. It’s an exclusive ‘outdoor laboratory’ which makes provisions for studies regarding prairie ecosystems.
