Sunset Zoo is a home to some of the best cheetahs and flamingos all over the world. It remains open for 360 days every year. As winter season works the way of its in to Flint Hills, this Zoo gets transferred to ‘Winter Hours’; thereby having opened at 1200 hrs everyday; along with closing at 1700.
Sunset Zoo has been accredited by ‘Association of Zoos and Aquariums, i.e. AZA’. It houses loads of events every year. One can sign-up for its newsletter; and also the other services provided by it.

Country Stampede Music Festival
This festival was started in the year 1996. Since then, it is being held in every last week of June. Initially, it was a 2-day weekend event. However, it went on to expand in to a 4-day format with the passage of time. This festival enjoys the pride for being the biggest one on the national level all over Kansas.
