Located in the Barren county, Cave City is a city in Kentucky, United States. The city is famous as a tourist destination, thus there are a lot of motels and restaurants that are located in the adjoining areas.
 
The cave city has a population of 1880. The city has a total land of 4.3 square miles out of which the total area consists of the land and no water. Politically the city is governed by a Mayor and the Council elected by the people of the cave city.

The city has a small convention center which is famous for church groups and also other organizations based in the city. Cave city has also brought about a revolutionized change in the cities culture by introducing alcohol being served in the selected restaurants.
