Tourist Guide Florence

Florence is situated in Boone County, Kentucky. A visit to Kentucky is incomplete without checking out the local attractions. The city was originally known as Crossroads, because of the convergence of several roads.

Florence is home to variety of historic buildings. Also it is well known for its water tower visible from I-75 reading "Florence Y’all". It had to be and advertising tower for the "Florence Mall".

The mall was no longer built and the city council decided to paint on the "M" and create an "Y"; Florence inhabitants liked it and decided lo leave the tower as it was.
