Cave Run Lake is an outdoors and recreational hotspot. It is situated 60 miles towards the East of Lexington, KY in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The nickname of this lake is “The Muskie Capital of the South” as it is famous for Muskie Fishing. This lake is a dream of a fisherman as there is a plethora of Muskie, Crappie, Catfish and Bass. Camping, Hunting, Fishing and Boating can be done here.
