Richmond: Attractions and more...
This town has progressed in tourist attractions, both natural as well as manmade. This city was previously known as the ‘Heaven of springs’ because it held a number of water springs. But now most of them are non- existent. This city is very rich in different and varied floras. The city has a vast number of parks and other leisure stuff. One of the most important creations is the ‘Lake Reba Recreational Complex’ which is one of the most beautifully designed parks. There are specially imported trees planted here, which never fail to enhance its beauty. Then there is the Paradise Cove which is a museum of aquatic animals and a variety of marine fauna. This park is very interesting and a good technological effort. For sport lovers, there is a golf course that is very funnily named; it’s the ‘Putt-Putt golf club’ and some other fields that are used for soccer. The business area is a traditional vicinity because it is prepared strictly according to the Victorian Architecture.
