The city of Shively is situated in the province of Jefferson in Kentucky. The name Shively came up from the name of Christian William Shively who owned the land of 1000 acre where he established a mill called Mill Creek. As per the records of the year 2007, the total population of Shively is 15,616. In Shively, people experience four seasons. Spring occurs from the month of March to May, summer season takes place from the months of May to September, and winter starts in October and continues till February. The month of January is the coolest month of all as it experiences heavy snowfall.
