As per the records of the year 2007, the total populace residing here is 9,378. St. Dennis experiences four seasons throughout the year. People here experience spring from March to late May whereas summer season occurs from May to September and from October to February winter season occurs. Rainfall is constant throughout the year where summer and spring are the wettest one.Kentucky Derby Festival is celebrated on first Saturday of May every year for the period of two weeks. This festival is characterized by 70 events in two weeks. These events include Great Balloon Race, The Great Steamboat Race, a marathon, Pegasus Parade, etc.St. James Court Art Show takes place in the month of October in Old Louisville. A number of artists participate in this festival to present and sale their artistic things and a large number of public interested in collecting artistic goods visit here.
