The people also enjoy visiting the museums and galleries. The Long Beach Museum of Art, Museum of Latin American Art and Rancho Los Cerritos Satellite Museum are the most notable museums of historic importance.
Located at a distance of about eleven miles towards the south east is a place called Huntington Beach.
Moving towards the East-Southeast direction at a distance of 16 miles is a place named Santa Ana.
A lot of festivals are celebrated in Long Beach region, the most popular ones being Kaledoscope Festival, Juneteenth Celebration, Grecian Festival by the Sea, Shipwreck, International Sea Festival, Chocolate Festival, Long Beach Blues Festival and Long Beach Jazz Festival.
