The museum maintains works of art, genealogy of the Acadians, documents, old photographs and other artifacts. It also contains exhibits from the annual Omelette festival. The Art gallery features works by mainly local artists and sponsors workshops for children. The Acadian Center in the museum displays art work related to the expulsion of the Acadisn families from Nova Scotia.
