Historic Gonzales tour in Gonzales

The historic Gonzales tour starts at the old jail museum and takes its visitors through lots of places to see. One can see the frame houses built of cypress shipped from the Louisiana coastal area to the Texas port of Indianola. On such tour, one can get to see the interior woodwork of these beautiful houses which are constructed of long leaf pine and such hardwood which are not similar to the present soft pine wood.
