Mandeville is a city in St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana, United States. This city is located on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain along Interstate 12. It is across the lake from the city of New Orleans.
The area has long been agricultural land in 1834 and in 1840 it was incorporated as a town. Moreover, this city became a popular summer destination for New Orleanians who wish to escape the heat of the city.
