The city of Monroe is situated in the Ouachita Parish which is in the Louisiana State of the US. It is the most important city of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area that includes many cities of two parishes. The city is based along the banks of the Ouachita River and also shares some land space with the city of West Monroe. Both of these are combinable to form a single ‘Twin City’ as they are popularly known. The city stretches along land across 83.9 sq. kilometres. The population here stands at an increasing count of 53,107 people. Most of the people have faith in Christianity, whether Blacks or Whites. They are survived by agriculture as the main economic back bone. This city is also the home town of the Delta Airlines, which is a firm that is internationally recognized. The climate here is not extreme and is a type of tropical type as there are trees here as well as good water sources.
