The Behrman neighborhood is located close to the US Naval Support in New Orleans, and has a few local attractions, though it is not often frequented by tourists.  The neighborhood was named after a popular New Orleans mayor, Martin Behrman.

Travelers can relax in Behrman Memorial Park, which provides a zone of green space, comfort and tranquility in this urban neighborhood for both residents and tourists.  The park is quite large at 60 acres, and includes natural woods for nature lovers, as well as tennis courts, gyms, pools, and other athletic spaces for the more active visitor.  Families can feel free to bring their kids to the playground and spend an afternoon here.

Cafes, sweet shops, fast food and local bars can be found all over this neighborhood.  If you're tired after a long day of playing sports, stop by Rally's Hamburgers or Roco's Chicken and Pancakes.  For those who have a sweet tooth, pass by Sweet Creations before leaving the area and you won't be disappointed!!
