Being a part of the New Orleans-Metairie-Kenner Metropolitan Statistical Area, Timberlane is situated in the town of Jefferson in Loiusiana. According to the records of the year 2007, the total populace residing here was 10,622. Heavy rainfall occurs from the months of June to September. People here experience very hot and humid summers and pleasant winters. Snowfall occurs very rarely in the month of December.Creoles and Cajuns are the two major cultures found in Lousiana. The combination of French, African, Spanish and American cultures results into the Creole culture. Cajuns came from west central France. Creole and Cajun music was very famous in early 20th century. In the mid of 1950s Swamp Pop and Zydeco music came up.
