West Monroe city is situated on the banks of the Ouachita River. This city is a part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area. This city comes under the Central Standard Time Zone which is UTC-6.  The city has an elevation of 82 feet. The city is located at (32.510844, -92.140048) with a total area of about 20.7 km2 out of this are 98%25 is covered by land and the rest by water. A majority of the racial composition is White and the remaining are African American, Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander and other races. City Monroe lies near this city. These two cities are known as ‘Twin Cities’ of North East Louisiana. Children below 18 and women constitute the maximum part of the population.
