Westwego Historical Museum was opened for the public in the year 2000. Since then, it welcomed loads of visitors from across the globe. Along with narrating story of Westwego’ people, this museum goes on to restore a general store that had been turned off completely; apart from furnished period living quarters upstairs. Main area features a lot of historical treasures and artifacts.
