The famous arts gallery in Woodmere called as Woodmere Art Museum was initially opened in the year 1940 in a large Victorian stone house in the Chestnut Hill district located in Philadelphia. It has more than 2,500 works of art which are mainly the contributions of the local artists. In addition to these galleries it also hosts many other cultural events, mainly concerts, thus attracting many people.
