This museum is situated in the small town of Woolwich close to Bath. The museum also provides tourists a glance of how the life in this region had been during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Also visitors can visit the meeting house, the old barn and much more.
Maine Maritime Museum
The Maritime Museum is located in the corner of the Kennebec River and which was founded in the year 1962. The main aim of the museum is to preserve and enlighten the public on the Maine’s maritime history. Tourists get to see displays along with a historic shipyard and also go a narrative boat cruise ride.
Kennebec River
This river is famous for fishing and rafting among the tourists and flows about 120 miles long from the Moosehead to the Atlantic Ocean. The river flows in the course of the centers of Augusta, Bingham and Waterville.
