Located in the Aroostook County, Caribou is a city in the State of Maine and in United States. This is the birth place of the present Senator of the United States Mr. Susan M.Collins.

The population of Caribou is 8312.

The city has a total area of 80.2 square miles, out of which 79.3 square miles is water and 0.9 square miles is water.

The city gets a seasonal snowfall which is approximately 116 inches. Till now it has recorded a snowfall of 197.8 inches during the winter in the year 2007-2008.

The city was incorporated on the 23rd of February, 1967. The city has a Chamber of Commerce and Industry as there is been a lot of industrial and agricultural growth in the city. The city has a lot of leisure and recreational activities for its visitors, there are charges, museums, historical society, wildlife and many more.
