Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge is located on Loring Air Force Base. This wild life was constructed in the year 1998 covering an area of 4,700 acres. This wildlife protects the wild life habitat with types of diversified species such as black bear, fishers, beavers and snowshoe hares. This wild life sanctuary is worth visiting.
