Caribou Historical Society was constructed in the year 1974 by a group of people who wanted to preserve the history of this place. Earlier they have to meet at different places but in the year 1986 the society decided to make the historical society at a permanent house and the proceedings started. The historical house stores varied collection of artifacts and mementoes that reflects the past.
