Nylander Museum was built in th honor of the Governor of Maine, Lewis Barrows. It was designed to preserve the collections of of O l Nylander who was naturalist from Oremolla of Sweden. He was also had an indepth knowledge about the flora and fauna and fossils. He was a professor in University of Maine. All his collections are well preserved in this museum and visitors will be fascinated to see the same.
