At the New England Museum of Telephone, one can get to see and experience the history of the telephone network from Alexander Graham Bell’s patent in 1876. There are also history of the era of switchboard operators and early stages of dial telephones. This museum was founded in 1983 and was created in reaction to the loss of an unusual switching system of Panel.
