Located on the Kennebec County, Gardiner is a city in the Maine district of United States. The city is situated at the top of the navigation on the banks of the Kennebec. The city is well-known for its culture and age-old architecture. The city is named after Dr. Sylvester Gardiner who was a famous physician from Boston.

The population of the city is 6198 people.

The city has a total area of 16.6 square miles out of which the land is of 15.7 square miles and the water consists of 0.9 square miles. The Cobbesseeconte stream and river Kennebec passes through Gardiner.

The city has a mild temperature during summers and it is extremely cold during winter, whereas rainfall is moderately distributed during the year. The month of November gets highest amount of rainfall that is an average rainfall of 4.19 inches.

The city cost of living is cheaper than the United States average cost of living and people in general are very religious in this city.
